Krishan Mohan Patel's Bio:

Krishan Mohan Patel is an M. Tech. in Computer Science from Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, with specialization in Cyber Security, and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). He is currently working as a Software Engineer and Security Specialist with Xtrans Solutions Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, India. At Xtrans Solutions, Krishan has played a key role in the design and development of an IoT Lab for a major Technology University, designed security upgrades for Xtrans Cloud, implemented Blockchain technology for IoT use cases, actively participated in the design of Blockchain Training Program and developed Hands-ON modules for the same. Krishan conducted many NKN Summer Workshop on “Blockchain Technology”, “Internet of Things (IoT)” and “Practical implementation of Smart City Systems” E&ICT Academy NIT Rourkela, NIT Warangal and IIT Guwahati. Krishan has presented papers and posters in conferences, including ‘Image Enhancement by Cuckoo Search Algorithm for Crime Investigation’ at Colombo International Conference (ICSSH) in October 2018, Sri Lanka, and ‘A survey on DNS reflection amplification Attacks and defending mechanisms’, at International Conference on Forensic Science and Cyber Security, Gandhinagar, in September 2017. He did a Poster Presentation on ‘Smart Warehouse using Arduino and Raspberry Pi’ in the 2nd Cyber-Physical Systems Symposium (CyPhySS), at Bangalore, in July 2018. He was awarded the Young Research Scholarship Award at Colombo International Conference (ICSSH)-2018. His areas of interest include IoT, Cyber Security, Blockchain and Ethical Hacking. Krishan has volunteered for education-related activities under the NGO-Bhumi and for the Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan (‘VISAKA’ Program).
